“To market, to market, to buy a…â€
Well, just about anything you want! You’ll find weekend markets, mid-week markets, markets with a focus on food or crafts, markets with entertainment, breakfast and brunch.
Just bring your basket or backpack, chat with local farmers and food producers, then buy organic vegetables and fruit, sourdough breads, mussels, grass-fed meats, cheese, wine, free-range eggs, pasta, jams, olive oils and more. If home is where your heart is, keep an eye out for jewellery, vintage fashion, homewares, crafts and sculptural pieces for the garden.
There are so many markets to choose from on the Mornington Peninsula. Choose from farmers markets, trash and treasure, homemade goodies and more. And don’t forget the monthly markets at each village. Take plenty of bags with you for all your purchases. Ample parking is nearby, however some parking is operated by service organisations for a small fee.
What makes the Peninsula unique? In no small part, the people and the produce are what makes our region such a special place to live and visit. A great way to discover the Peninsula’s finest artisanal products, freshest local produce, artists, local makers and performers is to head to one of our many celebrated community markets.
